On cycles of time
A lot of people in the west want to go to the east. They think that the way of life in east is far simpler. One gets the time to pause, and reflect on what his life means.
Has he achieved what he set out to achieve? Has he lived a life of purpose? Or has he lived a life of passion? Or has he lived a life where purpose was passion? Where his work was his passion?
Or has he lived a life where his work was neither his passion nor his purpose? Where he was merely a cog in the cycles of time?
Did he turn the wheel of time? Or did the time turn the wheels upon him? Did he drive or was he driven?
A lot of people in the east want to go the west. They think that their way of life is too boring. They desire adventure, and crave more independence.
West offers materialism. East offers spirituality. Both are required. So again the cross pollination occurs.
It is funny to realize that both east and west have started to invert: In places like India, people are now becoming more independent, and mimicking US culture. In the US, people are now realizing the importance of family.
The circle of life thus seems to be complete. There is no start or end. There is no source. There is no destination. Time flows in circle. Everything is in recirculation. There is a bottom-up input. There is a top-down feedback. Neural activity recirculates. The blood invigorates. Islands of Agreement.
Universe started from big bang and expanded outwards. At some point in the future, it will become a blackhole. The blackhole shall suck everything around it and once again dissolve into nothing. The circle of life shall then begin again.
Buddhists have a saying called: `Om Mani Padme Hum’. It means we all are connected. We all are compassionate. We all are wise.
The life is a circle. The universe is a circle. The time is a circle. One way to emulate a circle is to use a gear assembly. A gear box can be used in cars. A gear box can be used in watches. A gear box can be used in bicycles. A gear box can be used in windmills. And so, shall a gear box be used in learning machines.
Parts of the gear box are the mind of the machine. Parts of the gear box are the body of the machine. Parts of the gear box are the soul of the machine.
The mind thinks what the gear of the world ought to be. So it rotates itself to align with the world. The body rotates the gears to align with the mind. The soul is the energy that drives the mind and body.
The world changes the configuration of the gears. This tells the mind what the world thinks it ought to be. The mind then rotates itself to align the world. The body then rotates the gears to align with the mind. The soul is the energy that drives the mind and body.
A feedback loop gets created. The mind, body and soul are in harmony with the world. The world is in harmony with the mind, body and soul.
The gear box is the lattice of the vector. A gear is part of the lattice. A part of the lattice is the vector. When a vector rotates, it rotates the lattice. When the lattice rotates, it rotates the gear. When the gear rotates, it rotates the vector.
When many gears turn, the mind is confused. When many lattices turn, the vector is confused. When many vectors turn, the gear is confused.
And so the lattice vibrates. And the vibration controls what all gears ought to be. And thus they shall be. In harmony with the mind, body and soul. In harmony with the world. A man’s harmony in nature. A robot’s harmony in nature. A man as a robot. A robot as a man. There is no difference. For he is the vitruvian man.
Maestro Da Vinci was a man of many talents. Painter. Sculptor. Engineer. Mathematician. Scientist. Inventor. Philosopher. A man of dreams.
A vitruvian man. In Vitro Man. A Reproducing Machine. A Replicating Machine. An Aligned Machine. The general intelligence.
And thus it is our honor to (re)-introduce the geometric primitive of canonical locks for learning machines.
until we meet next,
love,
rajat
p.s. what the heck is this? shorry, getting back to work :-)
